He is a Doctor in Intelligent Systems. He defended his doctoral thesis at UNED on the application of AI to medicine, especially cochlear implants, in September 2019. He currently holds a position as a PhD contract professor in the Artificial Intelligence Department of the ETSI Informática of the UNED (more information in his Standard Curriculum Vitae in Spanish, or in his institutional webpage).
